Baseless Predictions for Fallout Season 2

Greetings rocketeers, and thank you for joining me on my search for the milk of human kindness. I voted for Dave, and as such, I'm sick of hearing about elections. A broomless post-apocalyptic fantasy land is where I went to escape, and since the Fallout TV show first came out, it's really grown on me. So what do I think will happen in season 2? Well, one thing I'm sure of: there will be a lot more tomatoes. Tatos.

The Enclave protectron idea is good. To make it great, I'd have the hunter robot start as something more lethal, like an assaultron or a gen 2 synth. Something that the Enclave would more realistically send against our protagonists. At some point it becomes critically damaged and the only way it can continue on its programmed mission is to upload itself into another robot body. Unfortunately, the only available option is protectron.

Yo, I'm a Warhammer fan for 12 years. You can't imagine what's riding on that IP. I've a lot of my identity wrapped up . Full Throat Nightlords tat, sleeve of the warp and chaos gods. Like a fallout fan, I think we should just focus on game canon and if a show makes us warm and fuzzy , include it. Ignore everything else.

Fallout is one of those shows where i wish it just had 2 more eps and wrapped it up instead of stretching it out into a second season.not saying it will be bad i just feel a few more eps where they track down her dad in new vegas would have been perfect.

That's actually fairly fast given that unlike people, Protectrons don't need to eat, drink or sleep. Heck, put most Americans today on its hit list without a car and it would catch up to them in an hour or two.

I just picture a long unbroken scene where the gang is having a discussion or an argument or something and you see the protectron moving towards them out of the desert in real-time, and every time the camera pans over to lucy it's a little bit closer.

Thank you for this dose of levity. When everything is turned upside down, we should all focus on what we enjoy. Bonus points for the cat. I felt Dr Enclave spoke as if he knew pre-war stuff first hand. It's never explored in the series, and now he's dead.

Ive had a pretty good idea of how they could introduce a Deathclaw as an actual character, rather than just a one and done massacre haha What if, as like we got introduced to each character in season 1 We get the name Deedee pop up And it shows some Enclave labs where they're testing on wasteland creature to make them more susceptible to taking orders, like an inteligence boost of some kind And they have a baby Deathclaw crack out of its egg, they named Deedee, (just because it sounds like a fallout name) After years of torture and testing she grows up, (not fully grown, but like a teen deathclaw haha) but the intelligence boosting has worked better than they know, and she essentially pick locks the cage with her claws, probably murders a bunch of Enclave, and escapes And after travelling, and probably attacking anything she deems a threat, she ends up learning that not all people are evil, when she gets caught in a bear trap, and Cooper Howard shows up, and instead of putting her down, he releases her because of a feeling he has, 1 of his rare acts of empathy I guess She scampers off and looks back Then some point down the line Lucy and Cooper are 100% dead because theyre surrounded by beasts or raiders or something And little did Cooper know Deedee has been looking over him from afar for years (like some kind of mysterious stranger) And she pops out Waaay bigger and absolutely demolishes everyone and everything that were about to kill Cooper and Lucy Obviously he aims his gun at her and lowers it when he realises its the Teen Deathclaw he saved all those years ago I know most people won't read any of this and probably moan that they don't want an inteligent deathclaw, but she is more like a smart dog, and it doesn't mean there won't be normal savage deathclaws, it will just be a weird and wonderful Fallout type story that I think would fit really nicely into the series Not only that, but you can literally pacify Deathclaws in the game to help you, so its not even unheard of, and the Enclave literally created Deathclaws to be savage Gaurd dogs, so trying to make them more docile to take orders is something they would definitely look into

I can understand them trying to remain ambiguous about what endings the games used since this show is considered canon but I feel it hurts the storytelling to not have a general canon. It would be one thing if the show wasn't set in the same region as 1, 2, and New Vegas but as it is it would improve the story to pick a canon, especially as Fallout 4 canonized Fallout 3's BoS ending and the presence of the still unnamed airship in the show does suggest the canon ending to Fallout 4 is either a BoS ending or a Minutemen ending (since those are the only 2 endings in it that can have the Prydwen survive). Enough time has also passed since 2 and New Vegas that the show's writers could find a logical way to make canon that would still explain why the NCR, the region's biggest power in the games, is on the backfoot (the presence of Mr. House in the show could easily make a House ending canon and the Battle of Hoover Dam a pyrrhic victory for NCR).

I mean heck if the writers were willing to make it canon they could have basically explained/hinted that XXXX ended up working with Ulysses from New Vegas' Lonesome Road DLC and that's how Shady Sands was nuked (Ulysses is former Legion and was originally going to be a Legion-friendly companion) and just leave it ambiguous whether the Courier was unable to stop Ulysses from launching the nukes or whether the Courier was the one that launched them. It's less problematic than what the writers went with instead.

I predict an out-of-pocket scene where Lucy gets a bunch of tattoos, because apparently it was a pain in the ass to cover up all of Ella's Purnell's tats during production and it'll get harder and harder to justify scenes where she's wearing long-sleeved clothing in the desert.

I just last night bought Fallout 3 having never played a Fallout game before, in an attempt to escape the reality of the near future. It’s nice to know Georg’s been feeling the same way. Also I miss Damien.

Good thing that the games never established true enduring tone. Even if this show jumps between gritty and cartoonish, it wont be worse than the source material. Since sharks died centuries back and fossilized, you can walk over them dozens of times and never even notice.

I think they'll bypass New Vegas for season 3, and do some sort of "hero's journey" through the wastes. I'd put dead money on a Kings cameo in one of the later episodes.

Personally I'd like to see Keith Szarabajka cast as Joshua Graham if we're heading to New Vegas for Season 2.

I really don't see how Joshua (or Ulysses for that matter) would really work within the show's vibe. He's about as serious as they come and either normal people would complain about the not-Mormon mass murderer doing his best "Samuel Jackson from Pulp Fiction by way of Shakespeare" routine being a spoil sport for the cartoony antics or New Vegas fans would flip their lids more than they already have with the show at large with any changes to his character. Also, he's in Utah with the Sorrows and the Dead Horses and if Josh Sawyer is taken as canon, he's in his 50s at the earliest by the time of Honest Hearts (2281), placing him in his mid-70s by 2296/97. I personally think they should just leave the DLCs be and try to get the basic tone and consistency right (or at least not actively make it worse) for Season 2. Considering that House was shown prominently in Season 1, my bet is either a House ending (it would justify the NCR collapse more if they just had a costly occupation over in Nevada that won them nothing but a pass to spend caps) or some mix of all of them, since House dies in three out of four of them unless you take the cut idea of him making a deal with the NCR in their route to the table.

Honestly, outside of the first game, none of them have had the overwhelmingly dark take on the apocalypse. 2 was sillier than 3 and NV (sans Wild Wasteland). Even Fallout 1 had a few silly moments interspersed in between the harsh reality of surviving eighty years after the bombs dropped. The problem isn't the silliness, it's that modern Bethesda can't balance tone worth a shit and either make something that is either too wacky or too ridiculously bleak and edgy, but in a preteen sense. That, and it's been twenty-seven years since Fallout 1 came out. Getting people to play an isometric turn-based RPG that is turbo reliant on critical hits and thinking ahead was a challenge in 2008. It's near impossible nowadays.

Norm's storyline might intersect with Lucy's for a moment, perhaps via interconnected radios, but he's a good B story in the studio. SO I have to assume his story line will stay in the Vault somehow. I wouldn't be surprised if the Dad doesn't stay in Vegas very long. Tough to render.

Fallout season 2 synopsis: Todd Howard will be the new main character in season 2, and all the previous characters from season 2 will team up to take down the Neo-Enclave/Neo-Vault-tec, and the BOS will elect gigga n1bba Maximus as supreme leader and implant his brain inside of Liberty Prime and he will fight an army of Supermutant Behemoths and then the team will fight the Master 2.0, who is even more intelligent and powerful than the OG master, and the Institute will send in their Synths to destroy Ceasars legion and the remnants of the NCR and then the master will fuse with a Zax 9001 super duper pooper scooper computer and chinese ghouls will attack America and there will be a second great war and lots of explosions and everything will get nuked and Lucy will confront her father and before she shoots him, the screen will fade to black and Ron Perlman will say: "War Never Changes"...roll end credits Instant 20 Emmy award nominations

I'm really excited to see them render my favourite Fallout character: the dog in the gun wot did the barks and smiles when I use it to hurt them guys whot brains got removed because they stumbled into a crater that i found at a movie theatre which had got bombed a big time ago way before i got borned but also kind of like way long after i got born which is kind of how i know all of the funny stuff and that it's a game which is now a show and it's great, isn't it?

In the 1950's when the Korean War started people thought it was the beginning of World War 3. The Korean War never ended they have had an incredibly long cease-fire. Now that the Norks have sent troops to aid Russia the Sorks are considering to send troops to aid the Ukrainians. So World War 3 might happen because the Korean War has reignited in the middle of the Russo-Ukraina war. Not really related to this video but still.

I don't care. The first season was terrible. A ludicrous amount of plotholes, illogical decisions made by everyone, dialogue written by teenagers and poor editing in one big pot of poop. And not a single likeable character!
