This is great-- really great. First time hearing of them, and I appreciate the heavy groove. I see that it's two dudes, but I'm also hearing distinct bass lines. Is there a bassist involved off camera, or is the guitarist using some kind of octave divider or the like?

no bassist... the guitarist is doing it all. he has splitters and running through several amps: one for guitar, one for bass.

I know they play really well but this is really a horrible micing setup on the drums. The snare drum mic gate setting is way too high, only allowing the hard hits to come through and leaving out every other single ghost notes and quieter strokes. No mics on the toms, the kick has no top end, no presence, you can't hear the cymbals when he's doing a roll on the ride, unless he's banging the crash. You would think a two piece band would be the great opportunity to allow every element of the drum kit to find its place in the soundscape and make it happen, what a waste of good musicianship literally thrown out the window.
