*updates since this video - changed out the old theater seats and upgraded to much nicer red leather seats as seen in the thumbnail. Moved the entire seating further back as I will be doing an acoustically transparent screen and putting the front left, center, and right channel speakers behind the screen. Closed off the theater space and added a door. added another 32" screen outside of the theater room scrolling movie posters and powered by the same pc that outputs to the other screen by the popcorn machine.

Upcoming changes, will finally close this space off as soon as lock down is over, will add a wall and door, the HVAC vents will not be an issue as previously thought. Kicking around the idea to use another spare screen I have at the entrance as a digital ticket booth instead of the faux ones you can buy.

SAVAGE man cave!, just watched a few other Man Cave videos and random videos from The Jungle Book 2016 and Chronicles of Narnia. People were so overly critical of The Lion King 2019 the movie was great and is a classic and this dude has it playing right in the video! I'm building me a Man Cave/ Trophy/Gaming/Bar room, speak it and you shall receive. Just stopped in to get ideas, glad I did. Great Room!

Thx! You put that comment in a pleasant way lol. Out of 1200 comments this is probably the most asked question. I addressed in a subsequent video as people were wondering the same thing. Everything is on perhaps a couple of times a week on the weekend for maybe 3 or 4 hours. Everything is LED except the projector. I would say the impact on the bill is literally less than 10 bucks a month, more like 5. If we watch a movie everything else in the game room is off. Total power usage when everything is on is close to 1.2 kW. For reference a small space heater is 1.4 to 1.9 kW at least!

Incredibly nice space. Only odd thing is the lack of doors at the home theater - someone can't watch a movie while others are playing games without disturbing each other. I guess if you're single or a couple who don't have guests then it's not a big deal.

its not ideal, however for any serious movie watching all lights are always off, even the mood lighting, I like it to be a bat cave. There is black felt cloth on the walls. I couldn't close it off due to some HVAC ducts and would require very extensive renos and cost more than I felt necessary to spend.

Mission Impossible Fallot. Incredible video quality in 4k with IMAX scenes and really good LFE. Have bass shakers in the seats and just made the movie an experience.
