Holy shit. That bridge is one of the best parts Basement has ever written. I was not at all expecting that crazy time signature. Reminds me of Failure and Hum, especially in the vocal melody. Not to mention the main riff is perfect and does exactly what I want it to do. If this is indicative of the rest of the record, this is gonna be one of the best records of 2018 without a doubt.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I actually didn't pick up on it somehow despite being a pretty big Deftones fan. That chorus screams Deftones. That strumming pattern is VERY Stephen

I love the direction Basement is going with this album. When I first heard Disconnect, it only took about two, maybe three tries until I fell for it. Same with this song. I don’t know. I just get an autumn vibe from these two songs and am expecting the whole album to be like this crispy, fresh feeling of dark and light sounds to resemble the days of fall. I’m just so excited and love this band to death. Have loved them for awhile and they’re spectacular live. I’m really anticipating this record when it’s dropped
