It is "480 Mb/s"(Megabits) not "480 MB/s"(Megabytes) 480Mbps is USB 2.0 speed which is about 60 Megabytes per second, which honestly checks out.

8:15 not what it said on the box? What are you talking about man. This is exactly what it said on the box. 480Mbps is usb2 transfer speeds which max at 40MB/s. This is basically a charging cable

This is fine for the price. Data transfer is a bonus which i would not recommend to use because data transfer could be easily unintentionally aborted .
