Als Delegierter der BASF in Pakistan seit 1956, zunächst tätig in Chemdyes Pakistan Ltd, einer Vertretung der I.G.-Nachfolger BAYER, HOECHST, BASF, Chemiche Werke Huels, CASSELLA Farbwerke, erhielt ich 1967 den Auftrag, die BASF-Geschäfte aus der Gemeinschaft zu lösen und mit dem Aufbau einer Landesproduktion die rechtliche Basis für BASF Pakistan zu schaffen, für Produktion und Vertrieb aus Importen und Landes- Produktion die rechtliche Basis für eine Unternehmen mit ausländischer Kapitalbeteiligung. So nahm BASF Pakistan 1970 mit 40 % BASF-Anteil und 51 % Anteil pakistanischer Teilhaber die Tätigkeit auf, Mitte 1970 begann die Produktionsstätte in Landhi, funktionale Polymeren für die Textil- und Lederindustrie herzustellen. Anfang Juli 1971 ich Pakistan, wurde von BASF mit künftig neuen Aufgaben betraut. Vor einigen Wochen versuchte ich Kontakt mit BASF Pakistan aufzunehmen und wurde prompt gut bedient von Mrs Saima Saleem, dem Head of corporate affairs der BPL und habe mich auch beim Ansehen vom you tube-Film der BASF Pakistan und vom erfreulich guten Zustand der Fabrik in Landhi, der mit neuen Produktionslinien der BASF beschäftigten Anlage, überzeugen können. Wenn gewünscht, werde ich gern meinen Kommentar auch in englischer Sprache eingeben. Meine Frau Barbara und ich leben in Weinheim, genießen einen weiten Blick über die hiesige Metropol-Region und die 25 km entfernte Silhouette der BASF SE, Ludwigshafen.....

Unfortunately, BASF hasn't analyzed the true potential of their products here in Pakistan or Perhaps BASF has no interests in Pakistan. Majority People of Pak have no knowledge about yours products and when commoner somehow knows your products through KZbin and other medium and then they try to ask about products info and dealers/retailers info then company doesn't want to tell any dealers/retailers info rather wants to be part of work/project and sell products at exorbitant price. Plus they are far much interested in elitist big projects but least concerns for the common people. Is this the way of running the business ?. If Yes then BASF will have no future in PAK.
