She is trying to understand. The physical mind and intuition are very very different things and do not generate from the same center point. She isnt trusting her physical mind because its a temporary construct for 3D and its the part that is programmed.

Every once in awhile I'll hear a high pitched tone that will just suddenly come on like a switch was thrown and then it just slowly fades. The whole thing last about a minute. Maybe once a month or so. It's been happening since I was a young child.

I practice yoga alot. I'm actually in tantra and it happens to me frequently. Often when I am doing yoga or after. - Also in tantra we get initiated in certain mantras, or Cosmic powers, which are from the Hindu system and in these meditation when we are residing a certain mantra, the goal is to bring forward a certain frequency of a tone, that sounds exactly like this ringing in the ear. The difference is that this is specific frequency of a tone while the other ringing is just random. But we get this certain ringing by focus while emitting the mantra. Anyways, So I connect that random ringing in the ear to being in a high frequency, or connecting to a higher frequency. And that is simply what you are both experiencing. It's comes because you are totally present, therefore the tone starts to ring but then it fades away because you are not present anymore. But you know It doesn't have to be like that, it doesn't have to go away right away. If you stay present with it. It can ring as long as you stay with it.

@@Atlas65 But people don't want that piercing ringing going on all the time! All you have to do is acknowledge the ringing by tuning in to it --as you said, putting you in the present moment-- Say hello to it, perhaps ask if there is a specific message trying to come through, but basically just acknowledge it and let it know the ringing can stop. This does not have to take you out of the present moment. You can be in the present moment without having never ending ringing in your ears :-)

ummmm this is the opposite of everything im trying to learn as someone in adult children of alcoholics who most closely aligns with the trait "addiction to excitement" it has gotten me in some really awful circumstances

Yeah but you're applying such a lack of nuance that its the equivalent to the statement that it is ok whatever you do because God is on your side. To add, if one is truly honest you'll find out that drinking alcohol often has a ulterior motive being covered up by the idea of excitement. Or even just the idea that alcohol makes any situation more interesting; you don't need alcohol if you're an exciting person.
