I was a member of the Original Class #59. At the original Sheriff's Academy when it was on Katella Ave. You arrived by 0600 and were lucky to leave by 2300 hours. No over time, and you could quit anytime you wanted. We started with 40+ candidates and graduated 17. Our Tact Staff was Tactical Sgt. Nesmith, Tactical Officer S. Jacquet, Tactical Officer Ramos and A Sgt. from Fullerton. Great Class great Tactical Staff. Theu could give you as many reports as they wanted. It was not uncommon for recruits not to get any sleep during the first week or two the Academy. Lunch was always fun, the Tact Staff would come and hold question sessions, so you were lucky to finish your lunch. Great time had by all. Would not change a thing. Retired after 30 years, best career every. Thanks to those who trained us. Bob, Stan and Raul, you guys were the best.

I was in class 48. It was one of the most difficult, challenging and satisfying things I’ve ever done!

De tantos que eran, los unicos que no me amenazaron fueron a los que cogieron con armas. Ni que fueran los unicos armados. Bueno creo que cogieron 3, uno de ellos que creo que era el que les hacia ganar dinero a los otros ese no era. Ademas dice mi hermano que siempre esta en comunicación con ellos que vieno otro pueblo y los invadio.
