When using duck billed scissors, use it with the wide part on top of the applique. You will get much closer and a smoother cut. It will feel awkward at first but it will come to be second nature.

Question on the machine stopping after each step. I have a few different appliqué designs from your store and the first one I tried was a monogram appliqué font and it did not stop at placement, tack down etc. it just kept going. Can you do a video on how to fix that within Embrilliance? Since that’s the one you recommend for BX fonts.

Kiki E. Your machine should be stopping. Are you using a multineedle? That’s the only reason it wouldn’t. Please email [e-mail] with details and we can assist.
