Are you intend to do the same kind of video in order to teach how to connect a Toggle Switches or another kind of input through Arduino Mega to both X-Plane 12 and MSFS2020? It works only with Leonardo microcontroller, as well explained at min 3:51, look at the text under IMPORTANT, because it's a HID (Human Interface device) like a Joystick or a keyboard, MEGA2560 or UNO are not of this kind and it's not possible use the library keyboard.h. The only solution to use one of those two is MOBIFLIGHT.

Thank you Mauricio for your kind words once again, they are very much appreciated :-) Unfortunately, as indicated in the video and in the post below, it isn't possible to use the Mega2560 microcontroller as a HID device or a NON HID device sending keyboard commands. The reason for this is that the Mega2560 does not have the ATmega32u4 processor onboard with its native USB support, unlike the Arduino Leonardo, which does. The only way to use a Mega2560 microcontroller as a stand alone device, is to use the XPLDirect or XPLPro plugins from Curiosity Workshop, or Mobiflight as the gentleman below has pointed out. Hello, Paul. How are you? Again, thanks a lot for the video and for the answer. I am supposing that it is a small misunderstanding I know that Arduino Mega is not an USB endogenous device, so it is not possible to connect as keyboard or Joystick. When I said "same kind of video" I was referring about the quality of the video, always very clear and didact. So, please , let me try to clarify. I will be happy to see a video teaching how to connect Toggle Switches or another kind of input through Arduino Mega for both, X-Plane 12 (via XPLPro plugins, for example) and MSFS2020 ( like via SDK ). Hi Mauricio, all understood my friend and yes, I will be producing further videos along the lines you have suggested, using both XPLDirect and the more recent XPLPro (XP12), as well as the Microsoft SDK (MSFS2020). Hope that's OK for now and I'll be in touch soon. Kind regards Paul :-)
