I’ve got four commanders now, how do I switch in between them or can I use all four at once???

Only 3 commanders can take part in a fight at the same time. You can switch them while placing your units in combat. To do this, you have to tap on a commander before you start the fight.

Commander upgrade is still coming? Currently there is no Commander upgrade

That was a mechanic we removed some moths ago to simplify the Commanders feature. They now upgrade with each Era automatically.

Commanders in Rise of Cultures do not have any levels so they can not be upgraded. Their strength is updated automatically when you reach the new era :)
