GOT7 is one of the kpop groups who really supports charities. Thank you for noticing that. Recently, Youngjae pledged to be an organ donor and worked on a song for organ donation to promote it. He said "If I become an organ donor, one of my organs can be of hope for someone when I'm done with my life." He also have a song (with Jamie) for Youth Suicide Prevention campaign. While other members have their own causes as well, like JB and Yugyeom participating in WKorea’s Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. GOT7 are big on supporting charities as individuals and as a group. And on their last concert tour(KEEP SPINNING) they team up with Make-A-Wish Foundation to treat their fans with terminal illness.

GOT7 are actually famous for being the funniest and most chilled groups in kpop LOL Their personalities are always sincere and friendly and the group dynamic is so close and down to earth. We always hear stories from all the staffs, reporters, interviewers, producers, directors and people close to them mentioning GOT7 as one of the most kind, professional, polite, friendly and genuine groups they have ever worked with, outside of GOT7's schedules so they just mentioned GOT7 in their own interviews, etc. While they are talented and unlike most groups usually having 1-2 members to write songs for the whole group, with GOT7 usually it's each member composes a song for the album so their albums are always having different genres and styles. Jackson once said GOT7 is like a rainbow, each have their own unique color but when they come together they became a rainbow :)

Thank you for your reaction! I've just discovered GOT7 recently and I'm absolutely blown away by their talent. Then I got to know their personality and that just sealed the deal. The bond and love they have with each other and also their fans is really deep and sincere. I've noticed the fans don't really see them as 'idols' but rather as best friends or family which makes the fandom a really supportive and happy one too. They're honestly not afraid to say whats on their mind and show their true faces (without makeup as well which is a pretty rare in Kpop) which is why you may see people refer to them as savage 7 or "crackheads" because honestly, they're so funny without even trying to be funny! Really genuine and generous group who are always quietly doing good things for the world. Just a couple of things I think that are missed in the guide, Jin Young actually speaks English pretty fluently and can easily hold a conversation. The other korean members also all understand english very well but are just more shy to speak it. Jackson was actually a fencing athlete and was Junior Asian Champion in 2011 and ranked 11th in the Youth Olympics 2010. He essentially gave up representing his nation in the London 2012 Olympics and his scholarship at Stanford university to go to Korean to try and make it as a kpop artist! Theres so much more to discover about them and their discography is really diverse as all the members compose their own songs so I'm sure you're going to enjoy this rabbit hole of talent you're about to fall into!

Got7 is really underrated in the Kpop industry especially in Korea. They literally have everything, visuals, talent, personalities and the heart. There is a lot of information about Jackson that's missing but I understand because it's a video about all of the members so they can't talk about everything Jackson does/has done, has achieved, etc. So let me add some stuff: Jackson is a rapper, singer, dancer, composer, songwriter, producer, director, CEO of his own label Team Wang, creative director & designer of Team Wang Design (his own luxury fashion brand), former Olympic fencer, global ambassador of multiple luxury brands, model, investor and more. He was getting ready for the 2012 London Olympics and had scholarships from Stanford University and the University of Hong Kong but gave it all up to become a performer! Before Jackson was scouted by JYPE, he was scouted by SM Entertainment during the 2008 Beijing Olympics but his parents didn't let him go to Korea because he was too young. Jackson was in very high demand on variety shows since debut because of his natural wit and ability to make the atmosphere fun and lively, so he went on so many Korean variety shows and single-handedly promoted GOT7 for years. Like the video said, he can speak English, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese and Shanghainese but he can also speak a bit of Japanese, French and Thai. He had no music or dance background or training before joining JYPE as a trainee but is now one of the best dancers in kpop and writes and composes all of his own music and music for the group. Jackson's solo songs charted, and still are charting, on American Top 40 radio. Most kpop fans know or have heard of Jackson Wang, even if they don't know GOT7, and now Americans are starting to know his music because he's charting in America. Jackson does and has achieved so many things that I can write a whole book about, this is just the tip of the iceberg of one talented, hardworking individual. I’ve been watching your channel for years and kept requesting GOT7 I’m glad you’re now really getting interesting to them and see why I was pushing it. They been indeed doing charity for a long time, some groups are also doing it but they’re really publicize it so I think it kinda takes out the thing. GOT7 donated and donates since years but they actually never mention which shows their humbleness. Their down to earth attitude and their music not going into the kpop mold is actually why they’re my favorites. Also Youngjae is the last one who jointed the group ( the one that trained for only 7-8 month) not JB. When they debuted in 2014 there wasn’t many group having that much diversity in their groups. Now with the new generation they’re including more and more ethnicities which is cool. To an west tour question yeah Bam Bam Mark and Jackson had to learn Korean during their trainee days. Jackson was already fluent in English because he went to an international school growing up and traveled a lot due to his fencing activities ( he was semi pro and about to do the olympics and even were offered a standFord scholarship but he gave up to go to Korea) Mark is born and raised in LA, he already spoke mandarin because of his Taiwanese descent. ( you often see him and Jackson talking mandarin sometimes when they’re all playing a game and their teaming up so the other members won’t understand lol) Bam bam is born and raised in Thailand. Learnt Korean as the others and picked up a loooot of English with Mark and Jackson during their trainee days and improved more and more as time passed. The guide didn’t mentioned it but Jinyoung ( the actor one) learnt since a couple of years more and more English and now he has a really good level like he can hold a full convo he also speaks Japanese like Jb. The other members, JB Youngjae and Yugyeom also understand English but they’re not confortable talking it, JB tho is trying more and more these days

GOT7 was actually introduced to me last yr when i came across JINYOUNG's kdrama HE IS PSYCHOMETRIC , i was so surprised to know he was from a kpop group and that to GOT7 , I hv heard GOT7 and i knew JACKSON and BAMBAM are from the group but i never thought the group actually can be so versatile and talented... since then their music and personalities hv always inspired me and the fact that almost half of the members are not korean it amazes me even more. The foreign members hv really adapted so well bcs usually u dont get a preference if u are an outsider u know, as a group i really love and respect GOT7.
