That bottom one is a drain screw to drain fuel from . You turn the air fuel untill it revvs to it's highest point then set the tick over . Usually 1 1/2 turns out.

at the first you turn it into lean mixture which is only only good for cruising speed but no power and but fuel efficient but also might damage your engine by overheating because in lean mixture there are no sufficient cooling system were apply because fuel is cool but in lean there s no enough fuel ,thats why. rich mixture is good for full power or throttle but disadvantage fuel efficiency are going to decrease,but cooling the engine is good.

well sometimes if its a new carbie they set it all so it will run but they dont do it properly. If you watch this video again, it will say where the idle speed screw is, if you can find that screw on your carb and spin in anti clockwise while it is running the revs should drop, (sometimes spinning it clockwise is the right way) the idle speed screw is normally the one with the knurling, (the one with grip) so you can turn it with your fingers, but bet with a flat head screw driver, hope it helps

Im not sure what happened but I asked for good pickup my service guy tuned my carb and it started giving me only 30KMPL. Later I went and complained and he re tuned but I hardly got 40 - 42 KMPL. Sounds like your carb throttle plunger is not seated all the way down. I've done the same thing. Doubt its helpful 6 years later though lol.

+Jakub Woźniak throttle delay as you say, may be just that. have you checked your throttle free play and cable condition? thats the first thing i would check if the throttle didnt seem right, rule that out then you can look at clutch set up. if it chokes over 40mph, i dont know what bike you have? but fuel mix, clutch set up? maybe?

I've messed up my ratio, now when I turn the bike on I put the rpm up to 3000 and when I start turning the screw in, it doesn't start to hesitate until I screw it almost all the way and then instead of hesitating, the engine just dies. daniel brand i am having issue i bought a 2004 yamota gy200. It is very hard to find parts for this bike but the guy i bought it from just replaced the carb and the air intake manifold. The bike starts and idles great but when i put it in gear and try to hammer the gas down the bike starts to bog down. If i shift gears it picks back up a little but again bogs down in the higher rpm is this a carb issue? and opinions would be appreciated

AIR screw is regulating how much air goes from air filter to idle Jet. If You open this scerw (left) you will have more RICH fuel to air mix.

It's the wrong carb for the application,:( that's why you are having a difficult time tuning. To use this carb you will need to rejet the pilot circuit and the main jet to compensate for pulse width the four stroke is different. If you are not an engineering type, you'd be better off purchasing a carb for a 4cycle
