I know there are different reasons people do it differently but I just got to my unit as an EOD tech and we always kneel with the back leg right where the foot was because you never step/kneel on a spot you haven't cleared. Maybe most people aren't worried about IEDs or missing a trip wire but it's a good habit and I dont think it has any downsides.

It all depends on your environment and circumstances. For instance, the modified kneeling position can expose your femoral artery. Furthermore, by resting onto your heel, you sacrifice mobility for stability. When you have to hold a more static position, it can pay off. If you're in a situation where you must remain dynamic and change elevation, points of cover, etc., it becomes a handicap, especially when you're got actual weight on you (e.g. HBA, backpack, breaching kit, etc.) Nevertheless, I respect your hunger. Go after it!

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience here in the comments. We can absolutely agree with what you write. The way we show it here is how we learned it back then, but after getting more experience and learning from others the whole concept always becomes completer, so it may be time for another video like this one. ;) I Instinct

Alot of this information is outdated. We use high carry now, muzzle up. Having muzzle down on low ready puts the second mans muzzle at the forward mans thigh/back. They use low ready in shoot houses with catwalks above it. Also prior to entering room you should work the angles in relation to the vertical door frame nearest you and pie it from 3 oclock to 12 oclock then enter and quickly engage the room from 12 oclock to 9 oclock. 2nd man enters next and engages 3 oclock then 12 oclock.

Pro tip where the head looks so does the muzzle. Also, there is no reason to pull the weapon back into a close position unless there is no space to maneuver. Once in the fight stay in the fight. I'm sure you guys do well against airsoft guys but some of the technics are dated. Keep training.
@ReconBrothers Жыл бұрын
Hi, we should definitely make a new video to update this. However do know that some points are kept basic in this one, because we notice people miss a lot when they teach themselves through videos. Thanks for commenting your opinion on the video.
@sanecanadian2351 Жыл бұрын
@@ReconBrothersI'm not sure if you do this but, maybe brake the movements up more for demonstration. So, people can visualize it better. Then combing them into fluid/smooth movements. This will help students grasp the whole movement. Something else is I always encourage people to film themselves when possible, for self critique. Best of luck.

Posers that provide quality MI/LE products from big companies to consumers in the EU and beyond, that are otherwise hard to come by. And also help active servicemen learn stuff through our videos and blogs. So seems like we're doing a pretty good job as being just "posers with airsoftguns". 🤷♂️ I Viper
@xiii_migz_xxx32234 жыл бұрын
At an overpriced point ? Please , stop using your fantasy game to say you provide nothing but gear for cowards who otherwise don’t have the spine to actually serve, and no you don’t help the mil community with your fake moves that don’t show real life fatigue nor concussions from firearms or exlplosives during training. STFU and just say what it is , you provid scared boy fantasies and your instructor Delta is a joke-like you. Stop calling them combat moves , you never been to combat nor have any idea what a combat move is because no real soldier uses your super “high speed “tactis
@ReconBrothers4 жыл бұрын
@@xiii_migz_xxx3223 What is overpriced? The thing is you guys compare airsoft too much with what the military does and not the other way around. Airsoft is a sport and we aim to push it further. You can say all you want about not helping the military with our videos, but we do very often get (former) military people writing us they have learned stuff from us and in contrary to your made-up statement that is a fact! If you think instructor Delta is a joke that's your business, but that proves you're just ignorant. And stop acting like we made this stuff up, we learned and share it with the airsoft world. So yes we have not been to combat, but the people training us did! And high speed tactics? WTF man? You're just looking to say shit, no high speed tactics are shown in this video. Also respect is apparently something they never taught you during your service.

@@xiii_migz_xxx3223 why are you so mad? This video covers very accurate information. If you were active service, you'd know the accuracy of a lot of this, but instead you're angry for the sake of being angry. Airsoft is a sport, but the inability to adapt information, techniques, tips, and methodologies from anywhere is the failure of the individual, not the source of information.
