@@zay5872 appreciate it. I think it's input issues. The backslide takes me out of range if the uppercut works and doesn't uppercut if I stay in range. I also may just be a scrub. Only got 100 hours in and prolly only 20 of that trying to be "good"

@@zay5872 it seems like if I just crouch uppercut the hit stun breaks and I end up clashing on the hit or they dodge it and I'm wide open. I'm prolly just slow pn the inputs still

Really struggling with the s.B on the longsword combo for controller. It seems like the movement is longer and slower for the attack to come out. Tried holding and tried tapping B. Anyone have advice or know the problem?

Most part is impossible to me because I dont know why my uppercuts dont trow me in the togheter to the enemy, he is trowed and I stay in tbe floor 😥

Only do the half charge at the dagger combo if you have low ping, if you have higher ping (50ms+) just do a normal light attack.

Hey!, a bit late but are you planning to do an advanced guide? i played naraka before and combos hasn't changed much but idk what the optimals are on the new weapons (i left just when nunchucks arrived) also there is the "pole sword" combos

Why the half charge with the dagger? Does that somehow reduce hit stun decay to guarantee the last hit? And could you do the same in other combos when there is extra stun time you don't need?

The half charge is needed to make the hit consistent on low ping otherwise it has a chance to just straight up miss. If you have 50ms+ you wont need the half charge. On your last question, you will usually use all your stagger time in your combos.

Hey zay. Nice video. Do you have any tips on how to land the j.A a.A a.B portion of the 2nd dagger combo consistently? My opponent always seems to be able to ukemi instantly as soon as they hit the ground.

Hi Jaimy, make sure to jump ASAP when you land, hold forward and press j.A asap as well. Also what is your ping? On really high ping the combo's might change.

I have great difficulty executing the first combo in the s.B part, my character doesn't attack at the same speed as yours most of the time, and there are few times I can hit, do you have any tips?

if you are on kbm make sure you hold shift all the way until you attack. you need to hold shift to be running after dodge, and running state is what lets you cancel the dodge to attack. idk about controller

@@rageofsweets yeah hold dodge for a little bit to go into a sprinting state then chain it into a B attack ( verticial attack / rmb / rt )

Very helpful for getting started! Was able to execute them all consistently except the dual swords combo. No idea why but my uppercut launches the enemy much higher than in the video, and then the air horizontal attack completely misses (or hit just once), so the whole combo after that won't work. Maybe 2-3 times out of 100 times that I'd tried this, I was able to launch them to the right height as in the video and be able to complete the combo. What am I missing?

Very nice. Quick question but is the longsword combo true? After the s.B, can't enemies dash back because of the 2 stagger rule?

nope gs doesn't really have good combo options, however swapping into a gs from a katana uppercut, staff uppercut and sometimes nunchucks uppercut can deal great damage, will make a new video soon about that

@@zay5872 Im playing on eu servers, might be better on NA idk. And i can sit hours in que in the morning and late at night... love the game but its not enough players. Its really popular in asia, which is where the majority of the player base is.

@@zeztox I play on eu as well, I dont play in the morning from 3 untill midnight under 5 minutes queues for me usually, the playerbase is small but for sure the game isn't dead.

@@zay5872 I guess our definition of "dead game" is quite different. I wish there was a way to see how many people played on each server, as steam charts only show the total amount of players.
