JLC PCB is fast and great, I use them myself. They do only charge 2.00 for 10 boards. But shipping is 18.00. So the boards end up being a little more than 2.00 each. But they are very well done and if your doing small surface mount parts it's worth it, trust me. They have my boards done and delivered from China to Minnesota USA in 2 weeks or less. So that's worth shipping cost to me.

finally basics tutorial on a topic that isn't overdone (in fact out of a few videos this is the first one that made things about opamps clear for me)
@johnhiggins46986 жыл бұрын
Thank you for including the breadboarding examples to really demonstrate the performance. Just what I needed as a TNC requires more audio than my radio provides and the op amp will allow that boost needed!
@sachinkhanna83474 жыл бұрын
Before watching this video, I don't know how to configure an opamp, but now I understand how to do it. A lot thank you for this video.
@agaelema6 жыл бұрын
Excellent tutorial, simple and to the point. Just a little correction, the explanation about the comparator is correct, but the inputs in the equation was exchanged. Based in the figure it would be "Vout = Aol(V2 - V1)"
@maphyc96593 жыл бұрын
thanks a lot man... i was wondering why his explanation and eqn don't match!!
@gkdresden10 ай бұрын
This is a very good series. Just one correction: the op amp inputs are not called positive and negative input. Non-inverting and inverting input is more correct because it describes their functionality in a better way with respect to the op amp output.

Hi, I studied electrical engineering at the University, but I have mostly worked with software development since. But I must say that this video was an excellent presentation on the subject, a great overview - but still with all the details necessary to understand and learn more. Great job, I must say, far better than any teacher I ever had.

I can really tell how much I don't know by looking at the first few of the other comments. From the first few that I read everyone seemed to love it and 'most have hit the like button like crazy.' However, I didn't know what to hit. I was totally lost and sadly didn't learn anything except how little I know. I really love the idea of the video series. I want to learn, but sadly just feel more stupid than ever. Not only didn't I learn anything (my fault not yours), but I don't even know if I should hit thumbs up or down. I love the idea of the series so do I hit up, I didn't learn anything so I hit down, but I don't want to lower your score so I decided not to hit anything at all. Good luck my friend.

Do you use same chip for every project? Is there op amp specialized for comparator which isn't as good for, lets say, inverting amplifier?
@rocketman221projects6 жыл бұрын
There are comparators such as the LM339 and they will not work as an amplifier. One chip will not work for everything. You have to pick one for your circuit based on parameters such as bandwidth, input offset voltage, output current, supply voltage, quiescent current, etc. That will all be listed in the datasheet for the op amp.
