A tip that my drawings to the next level, the effortless and easiest way, to advance your graphite drawings, is adding more contrast,by using a darker pencil.That, can provide values, that other mediums have but Graphite lacks! For the very dark values, I use the No12 Pitt Graphite Matt pencil.(not the No14 one, because it adds a bit graphite shine, while the No12 is as dark,without that much shine!). My favorite (by far, pencils to use for drawing, are the Faber Castell 9000 or a (H,HB,2B,4B,6B set of TK9071 graphite leads, loaded in TK 4600/9400 lead holders, plus the No12 Pitt graphite matt. LEad holders were meant for technical dawing, thus they are better for low to med values and yhat's where the No12 pencil, completes the set! Where the 9000 series, cover all the spectrum of values but adding the No12, again provieds even more contrast and deapth to your drawings! Nice video, always very helpful! Thanks for sharing!!
