Dont feel bad, I am a geologist working for a major oil company and work with seismic data everyday and everyone learns different. Geophysics has always been challenging for me, so writing down one thing that I learned or do understand then moving on to another video or article helps me. I am a visual learner and know this about myself and use it. What type of learner are you? answer that then find a way to apply it to what you are trying to learn here.
