C-Dramas and Chinese language are my current obsession, thank you!

Thank you, Ty, this is such a great idea! I got hooked on Chinese TV series that reminded me of my teenage love for Chinese poetry in Russian translations, and novels with hundreds of characters, such as “The Dream in the Red Pavillion”. Now I am considering studying Chinese, and your channel is a goid motivator

Ty and Pimsleur is going to have me speaking Mandarin in no time! Lol it's fun being able to recognize common stuff from C-drams. You hear "zao!" so many times in office dramas! And "ni!" is my favorite in costume dramas when the character is offended and points to someone like "Ni!!!" great video Ty! I hope all is well!

Thank you! Yes, it feels amazing to recognize something from a drama. Happens to me whenever I watch Korean dramas too!

Zao! I hear a lot of this good morning in dramas. Hello Ty, you are going way above my primary level 😂 I am still leaning ‘Ni hao’ did you change your hair style? I know “oua” meaning “I” and “ni” or what you said “nin”

Hahaha, no, my hair just keeps growing, I need to cut it soon. Keep it up! 加油!

Maybe this is a SEA thing. We use 早安 (zǎo ān) for good morning and 晚安 (wǎn ān) for good night.
