It is no secret that our rake is not very good. It is at the welder for some re-engineering. I have tried to purchase that rake, but it is in-store only. No advice on the grease gun, mine is 40 years old. I got it from Dad 10 years ago. Works great still. Wheel rake is very good for mini farms. Not much to go wrong with it, last long time, not very expensive. Nice video, very good info. Sally says Hi! Tell Susan hi from us. Thanks for the video.

Yes a small non-hydraulic lift wheel rake is very economical, and exactly as you said, not much to go wrong with it. Simple implement. Good rake for smaller acreage and can make size-appropriate windrows for a small round baler. Mine can be a bit of a pain to use in heavy hay to make smaller windrows but I guess that’s the volume of hay and not the rakes fault. Sure hope the modifications to your rake turn out better than expected. Thanks, Tom. I sure appreciate it!

Hello is there a step to do for the door?? I have not Used my baler yet but would like to see if door is working properly. I set my arm where it supposed to be. I Hooked up my remote to baler , I have power in the cable to the baler. Is there a need for the arm to be in a certain position for the door to open up. I have also ordered my twine that u told me have not got it yet not available here. Do you feed that trine inside or outside. Sorry for all the stupid questions. I did check fuse and is good on cable for the remote valve is open on cylinder there is fluid in the tank as well any ideas??

That twine actually has a tag on it that says “feed from inside”. That’s what I do. Make sure your plug to the remote bale door button to the baler ain’t plugged backwards (upside down). Turn the baler on (start the pto) and push the button…the bale door should open. You didnt mention if you started the baler.....the pto powers the gear box which in turn powers the hydraulic pump....the hydraulic pump has to be running to pump fluid to the cylinder to open the door. The electronic push button just signals to the hydraulics to push fluid to open. I have a question for you if you dont mind. Have you ever been around farm equipment and tractor implements? Thats a serious question. Putting hay implements together and running hay equipment can be a very dangerous thing if you're unfamiliar with how this equipment works. Folks have been injured bad or even killed by hay equipment, entanglements in moving parts, tractor roll-overs, etc. If you have never used hay equipment or tractor implements before, I would HIGHLY suggest you find someone in your community that is experienced in this stuff and have them mentor your first few times using it. If you cannot locate anyone in your area, go to your county extension office and ask for someone there to help you get started with your first cut/bale. Thats what they are there for, to help farmers. Please dont haphazardly start running this equipment if you have no experience with hay implements without some on-site guidance from someone experienced who can coach you through the process. It can be very dangerous. I just dont want to see anyone get injured or worse by being unfamiliar with this type equipment. Use at your own risk if you do.

www.br-equipment.com/sites/default/files/downloads/RP%20UM%20rev.4%20ing.pdf Found a PDF of the manual for that rake pretty easily. If that link dont open, just do a Google search for Enrossi RP4 manual. It should pull up the link. Hope this helps.

Thank you so there is no assembly manual maybe I'm reading to much into it. I do have another question if you don't mind.I also bought FMD mower185 is just the wife and I.You think way to much for her and I to put together. Also bought spacers to raise disk would be easier to install now or do that Lime you did in segment sorry for all the stupid questions.

@@BertSchmidt-jt5go No such thing as a stupid question. If you dont know, thats how you find out. All I can tell you about putting the drum mower together is my experience, others may have had a very different experience. I had to recruit my son-in-law to help move the hitch section to line up with the gear box/drum section and get it lined up to bolt together. I couldnt move it myself AND line up the bolts. Your mileage may vary. I would not put on lift spacers until I cut hay with it once and judge the cutting height to personal preference. If too low of a cut for your preferences, get it up on SECURE jack stands and add 1-2 spacers at a time and test. If you have rough, bumpy fields, Ive heard many say raising the cut height very far produces a rough cut. My fields are pretty smooth (except for one, our "reclaimed" field is semi bumpy). We have 6 spacers installed. Performance on rougher fields may not be as good as on nice fields. You just gotta start with only 1-2 spacers and go up after testing if you would like a higher cut, and see the performance. It seems more folks never raise cut height than those that do with drum mowers. I personally prefer the higher stubble height for regrowth. YOUR mileage may vary. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for helping us we are greatful you are out there. we think we got our baler together fmrb - 330 and going to try to thread it today with your segment till we get better. The arm in front on baler does not come up till u start bailing right? Or how does it come up to thread it. in the set up the guy just reached in there and pulled it up i do not want to break anything.
