Flails ignore the shield, making them a total joke to just about any Warrior Priest/Unchained. All Crank Gun variations also essentially stunlock the Chaos Warrior, making it incredibly easy to take them down or at least set them up for your teammates with center-mass shots

Do you know if DoT works on them? There is no vfx and they're tanky so it's hard to tell if it's working since other players are also plinking at him.

@@lukecarroll9823 yes dot works as normal, though since they have shield you need the dot source to be able to go through them.

@@royalewithcheese7138 what do you mean by "go through them"? Something like floor/aoe effects ala fireball conflag will connect but beam staff aimed at the shield or flame sword while he is not staggered and youre attacking from the front wont connect? Is that what you mean?

@@WhirlwindHeatAndFlash So basically all dot apply has one of two condition. 1) is simply 'on hit', this means it doesn't require the hit that apply dot doesn't need to do damage(means 0 damage). This include all burn dot, sott passive poison and sott bleed. So if you dual sword chain light on chaos warrior body, you still apply poison & bleed as sott. However, this still requires you to do a 0 damage hit, meaning if enemy is block with a shield dot won't be applies. 2) is 'on damage hit', this includes all none sott bleed dot and hag poison. It would require the hit that apply dot to do damage on the target to apply the dot. So a Flense WHC with rapier light attack, you need to land a headshot or critical hit on armoured target to apply your bleed. CW with shield has super armour + shield, so if you are trying to apply type 1 dot, you simply need attack that goes through shield and it's enough, so like sott can apply poison & bleed with SD light 3 because light 3 goes through shield even though it doesn't do super armour dmg usually. If you want to apply type 2 dot, you need to go through shield AND deal damage to super armour. On top of that, explosions(this include what pl usually call 'aoe') all goes through shield, so depends on if the explosion is trying to apply type 1 or 2/if it can damage super armour, you may or may not apply dot through shield. Firesword/beam left click are melee shield bash attack/range hitscan attack, they don't count as aoe. And since the attack itself can't go through shield, they can't apply dot through shield.

Their ragdolls also seem to have much lower mass, I see them taking flight more often than a dawi gyrocopter!

OHKO Careers still nuke them thankfully. To a certain difficulty of course. WHen I was grail knight on legend, they weren't too threatening. Thankfully I play quite defensively when the elites are there and have pretty good friends to keep the crowds in control and have my back. Did you test necromancer dread senechal charge stun? Because those can stagger even shielded enemies, but I haven't tested myself if it works. I'd assume yes because it effects even shadow champions. But on a technical note I know nothing, I just game and strategies with what I have on a intermediate level.

They can't. The way dread senechal works is very similar to FK charge. On the other hand shadow champion is literally just regular chaos warrior with grudge mark plus bit more HP.
