Not all "Jamaican" coleslaw are alike and I am loving yours. I remember being a little kid in Jamaica and this was part of Sunday dinner which I loved the most. Now, some 40 plus years later, you put the taste back in mi mouth. I have found the recipe that is authentic,, not those mayo, bell pepper stuff so many try to pass off as authentic. I LOVE your mannerism and the way you keep it real. Thanks so much!!!

I love my Jamaican cabbage and carrot salad. I also add cucumbers to my salad. I add hot water to the salad, cover it up for about 10 minutes to lightly steam the cabbage and carrots. Then I drain the water, add a little sugar and vinegar, then I serve it. Very delicious! 😋😋😋😋

Thanks very much for this beautiful recipe. Because you’re so courteous it makes your recipe so appealing. . I love how you made it real authentic jam down style. No mayonnaise . I usually use a little organic honey, cucumber finely chopped, red onion finely chopped, tea spoon lemon juice just to keep the color. Parsley chopped, celery. That’s my way of doing it . But I. I’m open to try it your way.
