Thank you for watching! I didn’t explain about the particle ‘を (o)’ in this video because I had talked about it in previous lessons. Please check other lessons if you’re not sure what that particle is😊

Thank you so much. Happy new year 2022. I hope this year will be better for me to study Japanese with you Dear Satou Sann Sense. God bless you so much. Would you visit an Evangelic Church close to your house? I am a pastor and I follow a Japanese Church, but they do not speak in English, only in Japanese. Happy New Year to your family also.

Hi. Two questions. 1) If the invitation to watch a movie is expressed using the negative form, what should the reply be if the invitation to watch the movie the next day is accepted? 2) Regarding the particle ‘no’ how do I say a delicious potato? Do I say Potato no Oishii or Oishii no Potato, if you understand what I mean. Thanx!!
@satous-nihongo-playground Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! 1) 映画を見ませんか? Why don’t we watch a movie? 明日ならいいですよ。or 明日なら大丈夫です。 I can do it tomorrow. (It is good/okay if it’s tomorrow) I’m sorry if this is not what you meant. 2) Correct: noun + no + noun Incorrect: Adjective + no + noun Oishii jagaimo(potato) is the right way to say this😊Yon can’t put no here as oishii is an adjective. Hope it helps!

Do we need to keep using particle 'to' for every additional thing or can I just use it once like 'and' in English? Ex: "I eat ramen, gyoza, and takoyaki." instead of "I eat ramen and gyoza and takoyaki."
@satous-nihongo-playground Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! Yes, we use the particle TO between each word. Ramen to gyoza to takoyaki o tabemashita. “I ate ramen, gyoza and takoyaki.” We also say… Ramen, gyoza, sorekara(and then) takoyaki But please just note that we use TO more often than AND in English when we talk about additional things.

Could you also say 飲み物を何ですか
@satous-nihongo-playground Жыл бұрын
「飲み物は何ですか。」is the grammatically correct one but it sounds weird as it simply means ‘what is drink?’. Depending on the context, it works. E.g. A: I got you a hamburger and drink. B: Thanks. A: Here’s your cheeseburger. B: Nice. 飲み物は何ですか?What’s the drink(you got for me)?? If you want to ask ‘what will you drink ?’, then 何を飲みますか?would be better. Hope it helps!

Thank you for your comment! There was romaji on some first videos but I’m not doing it anymore because I want to encourage people to get used to using Japanese letters🙏 Sorry for being a strict teacher🥲
