I would pay extra tuition to have this guy as my stats teacher. Entertaining, explains things clearly, and gives quality examples.

H0 = half of the class will leave if you come teach stats at our uni. HA= half of the class won't leave if you come teach us stats. p= 0,000001 made my exam so much easier! xx

You,sir, are my newest superhero. Anyone who can help a non-mathematically inclined person understand biostatistics has to have a cape somewhere! Much Thanks. R

Hi MrNystrom, would you be kind enough to teach my University (McGill U. that is in Montreal, QC) how to properly and entertainingly explain statistics to their science students. I truly appreciate the energy and the delivery that you have invested in creating these videos. I am a post-grad student (yes, one of those) and found myself missing a few "basic" sciences, your videos were "God sent". Thank you for your work and dedication. With Peace, Ciao, L

I know, right? Fortunately, I've only been struggling for a few weeks, but it's just so annoying the way books--as well ass many professors and other KZbinrs--over complicate the explanation of these simple concepts.

Some people have just taken it onto themselves to make sure a concept goes straight to my mind and stays there forever. You are one of them.

Imagine this guy bummishly walking into a car dealership or a bank and some a-hole dealer or banker tries to outnumber him. Daaammm! As usual, excellent and very engaging lessons. Learned a lot in 30 mins than a whole term.

I love the "you are not a robot" part. Indeed, we are meant to be so much more than robots. Let the computer perform the procedural math and let us learn and teach the meaning behind the mathematics and expand our minds and our students' to focus on mathematical implications and inferences. Yeah, MrNystrom, you rock!

Out of all the many videos I’ve watched about statistic methods. I finally have understood the logic of hypothesis testing and from the previous video I watched about p values, I understand the use of p value in hypothesis testing. Wow, the energy and reasoning this guy uses just makes sense to me like it never has before. Much thanks!

Does it matter that the Ho/Ha did not cover all possible outcomes? A result with a p value of 0.15 would not fall into either the null or alternative hypothesis as they were written. What would we say in that situation? Do we reject the null and also reject the alternative, or should we have made a null hypothesis of p0.3?
