Indian Classical Mind thank you, I thought it was brand G Rith since it was on the cover of the pump. This harmonium sounds and usually Pakrashi harmonium don't have good quality.

So the harmonium is originally from France (the West), and plays here a basic C-major scale using the exact same pitches and intervals found on any standard piano, organ, or keyboard. Again, there seems to be no reason to avoid learning about staff-notation, the universally-accepted method of visually showing the language of music. These days, referring to staff-notation as "western" is no longer accurate; "the rest of the world" seems more to the point now, right folks?
