Heyo drex, just started spinning last week and I want to requested a video for us noobies. I’m in the market of buying some good poi but It seems like there are SO many varieties and options on the market. What are the pros/cons of each type of head, rope, handle, length of rope, weight of head, etc. that would be super helpful for me and I bet for a lot of people watching this series

Hey, in your videos i see that you have really short strings, is that a personal preference or is that important for the tricks. Because i make fireshows, an its getting really hot with short strings (chains)

Personal preference. Dance has been a really important part of how my style has evolved in the past few years and I find it easier to dance with shorter tethers. The poi tend to be more responsive to my body movements and can be spun at faster tempos. Also I tend to keep my tethers short in my tutorials because I can pull the camera in more and you can get a better view of my face 😇
