I'm a beginner with clay. I am a regular painter but clay is my new favorite thing to do and you were the first and only one I will watch because you make it so easy because you don't go fast and you also explain what and how you're doing it! This is my project for our Christmas tree this year and I absolutely love them!! I also love what you said about if you plan on doing a lot of them, do them in some sort of order so you don't have to wash your hands in between colors!! I love that because I catch myself washing my hands so much but since I'm doing a lot that will be fun! God bless you for your beautiful work! Loving your clay time in Tennessee 😊✌️

I love these! So adorable! I went right out and got some clay and made 4 today. I’m a beginner and don’t think I used enough clay for the hats because the paper clip hooks aren’t working so well. When I first started in the 1970's, I used the salt dough but switched to polymer clay in the early eighties . It is a little more expensive but so much nicer to use. All of my designs can also be made using the salt dough if that is what you prefer.
