I'm a beginner with clay. I am a regular painter but clay is my new favorite thing to do and you were the first and only one I will watch because you make it so easy because you don't go fast and you also explain what and how you're doing it! This is my project for our Christmas tree this year and I absolutely love them!! I also love what you said about if you plan on doing a lot of them, do them in some sort of order so you don't have to wash your hands in between colors!! I love that because I catch myself washing my hands so much but since I'm doing a lot that will be fun! God bless you for your beautiful work! Loving your clay time in Tennessee 😊✌️

It was fascinating to see you work. Amazing! I was doing Santa faces.... But every time I tried to stick a magnet the shape changed or the belt in the cap got swished. I would love to see if you could show us how to put a magnet please.

I glue my magnets on after the pieces are baked. Hope that helps. Don't use a glue gun. Use a super glue.

I love these! So adorable! I went right out and got some clay and made 4 today. I’m a beginner and don’t think I used enough clay for the hats because the paper clip hooks aren’t working so well. I will use more next time. I do have one question. When do you add the eyes? Do you paint them on after they come out of the oven? Thanks for such a great tutorial!

I haven't worked with polymer clay, i used to use salt dough, think I'll give this a go. Thank you x
@SimplyOrnamentsbyMaria5 жыл бұрын
When I first started in the 1970's, I used the salt dough but switched to polymer clay in the early eighties . It is a little more expensive but so much nicer to use. All of my designs can also be made using the salt dough if that is what you prefer.
@winniepeg98692 жыл бұрын
