Seems like the type of game someone who doesn’t have the patience to learn holdem properly would invent, so they can play hands more often. In my opinion, the people that play this game, are calling stations.

it's the same game, what is there to learn? is actually more strategy involved, you get a pair of 5's and a A suited with one of the 5's, you have to decide a low pair of 5's which can be defeated by any pair higher, or the ace suited? many more scenarios, way more thinking 🤔 , do you hold the low pair or take the ace suited? I personally don't like low pairs, but is poker anything can happen the flop could be 2 fives and you would have had 4 of a kind, or it could have been A,7,3.. anyone with a 7 would have defeated the 5's, but give the game and people more credit and try pineapple sometime.
