H=heel or palm or bass. I usually use it in conjunction with heel/toe. T=toe or tips of fingers S=slap O=open tone B=bass, palm or heel and I usually use it when not illustrating a heel/toe So...a heel, bass or palm are the same thing. Sorry for the confusion. A lot of educators use heel/toe or bass/tip (fingers) as the same thing. You could also say palm/front. But it all means the same thing. Hope that helps!
