So much better than a quadra-pod “shooting stick” that requires another person to carry it for you. Shooting sticks should be light, handy, and serve as a walking stick too. Really nice video

Instead of plunging the hole with wood i use car body filler and set your threaded bar in it before it dries.

When you glued the buffalo horn I expected you to use some kind of dowel in between the two. Do they glue that well every time so there’s no problems filing them down without them coming off ?? Beautiful stick 😁

Lovely thumb stick but I feel the stops you used on the antler cheapen it

The "stops" are buffalo horn and have always been tradionally used. You have to use something as you cant round over the antler to finish it, without creating a hole. It looks better when matched with a buffalo horn collar between stick and antler.
