what a great rational progression for no starts after a swap. grounded, relaxed, and thought out approach to addressing a problem not guessing coupled with parts cannon. I definitely could have used this a couple years ago great video thank you for a huge wealth of information and posting this video it should be the standard issued when you buy a 20+ year old TDI.

Thank you for the kind words. I just hope that people watch this as often as they need, and have a good foundation on diagnostics when it comes to these engines. Granted it comes easy to me at this point, but once you start delving into the simplicity of the ALH, you can save yourself a ton of money by not paying people that follow these same procedures (although through experience, and not this video).

Been stuck on hooking my wiring up to my Toyota swap for a year now. haven't worked on it as much as I'd like to have. I bought a Fast Forward harness and then got lost in where to connect everything and then just fell away from the swap. Almost everything else is ready to go.

I feel you! Sometimes life gets in the way, but if you've got the rest of it ready to go, a little time and effort can get you over the hump!
