hey Dexter, I also have a chicken farm & when we add chicks to there new place we add some old newspapers top of the rice hulls to prevent the chicks eating the rice hulls. The next day we will remove those newspapers.

At The moment I am Taking care of 40 pieces of Broiler chicken Sir Dexter I have also Used "Quick Heal". But on my experience even if you applied quick heal the chicks will still be able to notice it because they have keen eyesight and they will try to pick it. May I suggest that you will separate the injured chick and return it when the wound heals and color of the quick heal disappears. Gobless Sir Dexter😊

Mr. Dexter,I'm not really sure about driving away viruses with a monkey, however I know that it is very good for morale to have such an interactive pet. Now I don't turn my back on such types of folklore, as I come from a family that does a lot of things,health-wise that the scientific community frowns on. The bunnies need more space. They also need a wooden board over some of the wire because the wire will give them sores on their feet. And it is really painful for them. I do not believe the monkey will keep away the viruses. I think you have learned how to deal with it better than before. But the monkey is really cute and fun.

Sir I don't think it's a good idea to keep pigeon in your poultry farm. They roam around flying and might carry diseases like "baleleng".

I thought that too. The pigeon should at least being housed and fed on a separate part of your land. Away from contact with your other birds. Pigeons do have contact with wild birds and sooner or later will contaminate your breeding flocks, especially with their poopings. Do not risk that. You invested already a lot of time and money.

Dexter, another great video. Again, as always, great information. I am interested in doing a chicken project in Marinduque Island. I have about a half hectare available to donate to the project. I would prefer chickens, ducks and quail over fish. What breed duck and chickens would you use in and on our island. We want meat as well as eggs. We will obtain an incubator. Would you recommend gas or electric. Marinduque is the brownout Capitol of The Philippines. I would like to have about 1000 ducks and chickens, and about 300 to 500 quail. I am also interested in rabbits. I believe that with good selective breeding a man could obtain 8 kits over kindle and six kindles a year. I would like white pigeons , homers, for funerals. My questions: What type of vegetation should we raise. What breed of chickens and where can we get breeders near our port in Luzon? What breed of ducks could we use and would ducks be profitable in Marinduque? We want both eggs and meat. We have tried moscovies in the past. They lay few eggs but they are great mothers. We have raised quail with great success. We may try that project again, quail have been profitable in the past. What ratio would you use , male to females, with quail. I did 1:3 with success.
