I’d be interested in seeing a consumer goods tutorial, how you can influence pop consumption is a vital part of specialty countries that have low grain productivity like the Middle East and nobody really explains how you can stop pops from deciding 50% more expensive grain is worth more than buying meat that is down 60%

Lol, inspired by this series I've been doing a Spain playthrough in parallel; £52M by 1875, not tooooooo bad, have been a lot more able to use politics since your vid about it. Unfortunately when I try playing that save now I usually get a crash to desktop after about 10 minutes, so, bricked save, can't continue, ragequitting Vicky 3 for a while 😂.

Do you have this game downloaded on the cloud with Microsoft One Drive? It's usually automatic and you might not notice, but check either way. I had this same issue of crashing at a random point (15mins to 1hr) for no particular reason and eventually found out One Drive causes crashes for a reason I don't remember. Regardless ever since I've uninstalled the game hasn't crashed once, and I don't have a particularly great PC either.

@tannerunderwood264 I really, really hope I'm not using OneDrive, but knowing Windows these days... I'll check properly later. I suspect it's a logical error baked into the save, it's only started crashing recently.

you were looking for "traditional". Charismatic never gave command limit boost, traditional did. And in land armies the base amount was always 30 at level 1 commander.

A landing only party of 1 cavalry sounds interesting. How often does this backfire? I've had instances where the AI breaks off a tiny force from an existing frontline army, just to mess with my naval invasions groups that aren't up to snuff.

AI usually sends a depleted stack to defend naval invasions. 1 cavalry wont land

Ai will often be able to defend vs this, but if they’re pulling off a ten stack from a front to deal with your one stack and one boat that’s still a big win
