This is super helpful! Is there a way to snap onto buildings that are already in the realm (i.e. ones you didn't build)?

I played about an hour of that stress test they did a week back or so and I didn't really like the building in its current state. The main issues were that when i missed placed something I had to exit out of the build menu and walk up to it and select to delete it as you showed in this video. And it was just the outlined blueprint that hadn't actually be built yet. Also i couldn't find the right roof piece to connect a 1 square small V shaped roof to the larger 45 degree roofs for what i was trying to build. Maybe I missed it but i tried placing all of the roof pieces but could not find the right one which is where the first issue I mentioned became annoying. I do like what they have showed off in the trailer they just released. Maybe I will give it another go some time in the future when it's not as rough around the edges.

I get ya. You don't get all of the build pieces at the beginning also. Some you can find in the world and some you buy from different traders. But, yeah, we'll see how this all progresses as it's not even out til next Tuesday. Thanks for watching Pimpermon.

Is there a way to replace a wall? let's say I want to upgrade from wood to rock, without having to remove the wall and put a new one? We can do that in Icarus, and I found it very helpful

I don't think so. You have to deconstruct and rebuild.

Go to the essence trader and on ur way gather every stick and fiber and extract essence out of them and buy everything in the essence trader.. one of the items u buy is a blueprint to craft hammers.. hammers allow u to repair structures

Ugg, every video shows rotation and adjusting height working perfectly. But in my game they don't work.. I've even rekeybound them and still nothing. The rotation just rotates the pattern the full item does not rotate. And the height just doesn't work at all...... really at my wits end
