Thanks Olivio! I’m looking forward to this series - I’ve been using the Nik collection for a while but there’s so much more to learn.

Hello Olivio! You’re Videos are truely amazing and inspiring, thank you. There is one question haunting me for decades: How to get a true realistic sunset in terms of colours. The yellow colours of the setting sun really annoy me. I’d love to get the reddish tinges that my eyes would see also represented in my digital photos. How could you achieve that by means of Affinity, maybe in combination with NIK? Cheers Reinhard

Very well done, Olivio. Many thanks. I’m wondering where are the Luminous & Chromiance buttons for better control of the CPs? (Forgive the spelling LOL)

Cool vid, Olivia. I just got the Nik Collection after 10 years of not using. Such a vast improvement. SEP is really the only way to do b&w. Also, did you manage to get Filter Forge to work as a plugin? I think I tried for 45 minutes before I gave up. Respect, fam.

How useful is color efex if I use photolab 5 and Affinity? I do have nik but only use silver efex
@OlivioSarikas2 жыл бұрын
Color Efex Pro is part of the Nik Collection. So you get a bunch of Plug-ins in one Bundle that are all very very good. It's a perfect addition to Photolab 5 and Affinity Photo

@@OlivioSarikas Thanks, I enjoy your videos. I tend to process raw files in Photolab and then only use Affinity when necessary for something which Affinity does better like removing objects or if I plan to use Silver Efex or Topaz Sharpen. I'm unclear as when and why I should go into Color Efex. Perhaps by watching your Color Efex videos it might become clearer.

@@stefanmarch Nik Collection is very good at creating various analog looking adjustments, sometimes even by simulation brand analog files and classic analog processing techniques. I sugest you try the demo for nik collection to see if that is something you like. Alternatively there are special filter packs for Photolab that are in some regards similar and non-destructive at the same time
