3:00 is there a merge all Union? Also how do you mirror a cloned object for symmetry like legs and arms?

When in scene mode while creating objects I find its difficult to place them perfectly in line. Is there a way to constrain movement to a single axis?

Oh god this is gonna help me so much, I was like, struggling last time I entered it. Still trying to figure out how to change my space into something that isn't like.... a dark place.

Can you carve or subtract from shapes?

In the document outline menu, is there a way to have multiple parent sculpts in your scene? I wanted to make a custom workspace for while I'm sculpting the main object. As far as I can tell, every subtool stays linked to the parent sculpt and while in sculpt mode all objects move and scale together. So for example if I sculpted myself a work table it VR, is there a way to have it stay stationary where I place it while moving scaling and sculpting another object? Excellent software btw. I just started using it, I'm having a lot of fun!

Hi Daniel, Thanks for the kind feedback!:) Unfortunately, there is no way to have multiple parent sculpts at this time, but implementing an object grouping system is on our roadmap, so this will improve in the future! If you have many objects in the scene that distract you, you can hide it in the document outline. Best, Leopoly Team

@@ShapelabVR thank you for the response, I just didn't want to keep searching for something that wasn't there yet. It's a very intuitive UI, and your tutorial videos are great. I've had no issues with hiding or maaking parts visible. I look forward to seeing future updates and new features. I'm excited to hear object grouping is on the road map. I enjoy the environments provided, however I think it would be incredible to create your own surroundings that can be locked in place and then sculpt objects in that space. Being able to fine tune light sources would be nice as well. I wanted to mention I'm impressed with the stability of shapelabs as a piece of software. There are a lot of great vr sculpting programs out there but I've noticed especially during early access and development, freezes and crashes can really mess up my workflow and sometimes lose me valuable work. I've found shapelabs to be acceptionally stable and easy to record via software like obs. Very well done. Keep up the great work, can't wait to see what comes next!

@@Orain88 Thanks, we’re glad to know that the UI and the tutorials are helpful! 😊 We will keep your feedback in mind for locking the objects and the lighting options. We put a lot of emphasis on stability, so we are happy you mentioned it as a plus! Your KZbin channel is quite impressive too, both your digital and real-life sculptures are beautiful! We would love to see your art made in Shapelab somedayl! 😊
