Basics of sUAS and Thermal Imaging

Just came across this video and was very eager to watch it. I would like to use my drone and thermal imaging capabilities to fly high-walls and rock faces and identify miniscule cracks that may help to identify potential rockfall spots. Has anyone used theirs for this type of task and have any suggestions for the process?
