surah a'raf Imam said try to start with comfortable pitch not too low neither high.If you start rather high you will struggle later.so the beginning when you recite taawuz and basmalah it is very impt for you to begin or make a good choice of pitch. 3.30 imam said its advisable to recite by each word or phrase little by little to make thing easier.5.50 imam shows to embellish tune esp at the end or long MADD. 6.00HARAKAH 2.Repeat step by step the phrasing,pitch,detail to make it interesting.

Surah AL-A'raf verse 189. 0:09: Let me repeat, ensure voice is on the lowest note 0:22: If the lowest note is used, it will sound like this 0:32: This is too low. Hence, we raise a bit the note so that the sound is much clearer( He then recites the correct 'low' note)

You read by qitah per qitah.(Recites section by section). 5:55: Now we change to second harakah.(recitation) 6:34: Let us try again by qitah per qitah. 6:57: Pay attention to the way I recite the second "ha". 7:16: (recitation). Note how I did " ilaihaa~", with a bit of pressure on "LAI". These are the little things that need to be paid attention to when reciting this type of tarannum.

2:05; It is important bismilah and a'auzubillah is on the right voice level because it is the starting point. Dont make a mistake by reciting it on the higher note. There is nothing wrong in reciting this, but the technique is wrong. Also note, since you dont go below the starting point, if your starting point is high, you will have trouble.
