Basilica de la Macarena (Seville, Spain)

Next stop in our church tour is the Basilica de la Macarena.
This Basilica is famous for the statue of Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza Macarena. It is one of the most famous procession figures of Seville during Holy Week.
The Basilica also houses the images of Jesus Christ being sentenced to death (La Sentencia) and Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.
Also located beside the Basilica is a small museum, "The Treasury", which is dedicated to the Holy Virgin.
