The fact that Reese can get 10 offensive rebounds on 3-4 possessions completely negates her rebounding stats. She gets so many rebounds BECAUSE she can't shoot for shit. It's hard to watch her miss 2-3 shots from right under the goal and not be suspicious that she might be missing some of those on purpose to inflate her rebounding stats. I am far from a conspiracy nut, but when she throws up a wide open meatball off the bottom of the rim and gets an offensive board in the box score for that, it's pretty damn suspect.

Many pundits have commented the Reese / Clark dynamic is similar to the Magic Johnson / Larry Bird rivalry back in the 80's. For Laker fans, Bird was the villain, for Celtic fans Magic was the villain. Never did either one play the victim. I'm sure everyone has seen video clips of those legends. But if you weren't alive at the time to see them play multiple times over the years, you'd overlook a key aspect of their game. As hall-of-famers, Magic and Bird were super talented in their own ways and yet they were always about TEAM and found ways to make those around them better (i.e. the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts). Reese plays like she's almost independent of here team. So I have a tough time seeing her making those around her any better.

If you took that 14% away, she'd be about 20 boards behind A'ja Wilson for the league lead. Credit where it's due though, she actually is an excellent offensive rebounder, because even if you took all of her self rebounds away, she'd still be leading the league in offensive rebounding. She just wouldn't be leading by like 70 O rebounds.

Angel Reese is good simply because of her height...she's really not that good. Yes, her total numbers look fine but look at her ridiculously low shooting percentage for a big. Of course, everyone will miss an easy shot once in a while but Reese does it consistently. On the other hand, Clark can control a game cuz the ball is in her hands a good portion of the time. With her scoring she can also dominate a game. Whether it's a hesitation blow by, three-quarter court pass, pocket pass, logo three, the combination is something few others can do. Think about it, in any entertainment field the public will only pay for what they feel is a good value. If people are honest, they'd say Clark is a better overall player, a better teammate AND most importantly more entertaining to watch.
