People sleep on Chinese brands, Anta, Peak and such have been making dope shoes, I'd say they have a few more misses than hits looks wise, but performance is all there

Nike can make great traction out of their budget shoes like the Giannis Immortality and make robust traction out of their tennis shoes like the Zoom GP Turbos, i dont know why they have to make the traction trash in some models like cmon Nike you said “just do it” and why wont you just do it?

The 361 AG1 shoes are dope. Feels much better than the Zions I have, has better cushioning than the Don Issue 1, and is more responsive than the TMac Restomods. Don't sleep on the 361 AG1!

I’ve heard people say Chinese basketball shoes are higher quality at the “team shoe” price point. I used to buy the prior year Nike hyperdunks when they hit the shelves at academy on discount. But the hyperdunks quality got worse and they discontinued it. The alphadunk was too expensive and the zoom rize sucks.

Hmmmmm, I have a Jordan 11, 13, Anta KG6 and a Qiaodan Sidewall. My least fave is the Anta, but surprisingly, the best shoe for me was the Qiaodan since it was amazingly comfortable to the feet. But if you're playing ball, go with the Js.

Most of these US Brands were manufactured/assembled in China, sure they would get some idea of the design and tech they put in each shoe.

I own a few pairs of shoes from Anta and 361. The quality is on par with Asics and better than Adidas. And if you buy them in Asia, they can be dirt cheap because in Asia, they are not always suckers for brand name. When you are not so affluent, you buy value rather than brands.

The bad thing is Anta's biggest size is 11. I wear size 12 most of my sneakers, 11.5 for Adidas sometimes. Not sure if Anta's size 11 can fit. If anyone can give me any advice on that, much appreciated!

Theres no 10.5us for theanta models. Im a 10.5 in nike. I got it at a 10us. I have another anta model like a low ver of that. It was an 11. It fit well on the sides but it was long but tolerable. The low feel lighter even if it was an 11.

The aesthetics of the shoe really is good. But the outsole is a meh. The outsole durability for me is number 1 that i consider when i buy basketball shoes because i play most of the time outdoors. If they have a colorway that has a more durable outsole, maybe that i'll consider in my list to buy

Most of the sneakers are made in china. We have many good basketball sneakers nowadays, way much better than Nike. Lining, Anta and Peak. I used to collect many Nike sneakers but I gave up already… designs of Nike basketball are really bad nowadays… Zion shoes / PG shoes / latest Owen shoes (awful…) etc

Yep, and nikes are generally 30% more expensive than chinese ones even their factories are neighbours ( or sharing). And I know there are product lines in China just making PE shoes for NBA players with completely different materials compared to sold in markets🤮. At least on this, the chinese brands are treating better to their customers than nike
