In the very beginning in the BBW franchise I thought Jen was just a follower trying to fit in with the popular girls. She was a mean girl by association. I don't think Tami is upset over the Kenny thing. That was a lifetime ago and we can all see that he was no catch. What I think Tami's issue is is the superficial friendship over the years. If you notice Tami takes sarcastic swipes at Evelyn or speaks the on negative things we all know Evelyn has done. Evelyn on the other had always tries to degrade Tami on her "being" i.e. her hair, her clothes, her walk, food stamps. It's all superficial ish that doesn't define a person or their character yet it reflects how shallow of a human being she (Evelyn) is. I think when Tami thought she was building a friendship with Evelyn she thought it was genuine. The hurt she is feeling is for allowing herself, despite the initial revelation and forgiveness, to be that vulnerable to someone that obviously thinks she was a running joke. After a while civility breaks down and it gets really nasty. We all know how Tami gets when she is hurt. She is trying to be better but......hey.......
