@@StreetPhat You agree that being a leftie has no bearing in how one win stick fighting, we can go to boxing, its like saying in boxing southpaw (lefties) are good because they are left this is not true. To say i beat poor lefties that also throw your argument against yourself; they should be good in your brain what variation led to them not being good. This is logic. You can challenge others, I am a 38 family male i have nothing to prove with risks that are way too much. If this was a sport with good money, insurance, legal contract if you die or i die or one get injured I would. If you fellow any martial art sport stick fighting is the deadliest certainly not worth 3000k. Also, the Zulu guy who got beaten here is left handed in case you missed it. I rest my case.

Stick fights are not Pillow fights you may be accustomed to Stickfights were designed for war.Now different cultures will have their own variation, some cultures use sheilds some dont. The use of sheild in Zulu culture is because the fact that you cannot defend against a Zulu Stabbing Spear without a shield. So Zulu Stickfights start with young children playing without shields and when they become young boys they use shields. You seem to have watched too many movies which can mislead in terms of what a warrior is.What i can tell you is all warriors in Africa are true warriors, dont be confused by watching all these Hollywood movies that seem to make other cultures more superior to our own until you believe it and start making statements without proper knowledge like you have..Peace my brother .

What a brilliant showing by these guys. There should be a medical professional or at least a person with first aid and medical kit. The injuries are on par if not more than MMA.

As a proud Zulu and a combat sports fan, I truly admire stick fighting but to modernize the sport and maybe one day make it one of the sports in the Olympics, we'll have to use head gears/some kind of a less lethal sticks, and have doctors, paramedics and ambulances incase someone gets hurt badly. Those sticks are no joke, one clean hard strike can kill a man.
