The "Right” wave -"Parlementia" -and the "Left" wave - "Avalanche". With its famous waves and its pleasant climate throughout the year, Guéthary is a very popular destination for the practice of this board sport . The spots are linked in Guéthary: reefs and beach breaks , left and right, waves for all levels of surfing , from beginner to pro, from longboard to shortboard. Guéthary is the smallest village on the #Aquitaine coast. The port of Guéthary, in addition to being the smallest on the coast, has the particularity of being in dry dock.

Session de surf à Guéthary. Idéalement situé, à proximité de ses prestigieuses et très connues voisines Biarritz et Saint Jean de luz, Guéthary est le plus petit village de la côte aquitaine.
Haut lieu du surf mondial, Guéthary a le privilège d’abriter deux vagues mythiques. La « droite » : « Parlementia » qui se forme à Guéthary et s’échoue à #Bidart, accès par le port de Guéthary et la « gauche » : « Avalanche » accès par la #plage des Alcyons. Situé entre Guéthary et Bidart, le spot de Parlementia est un spot mythique et un spot de gros. Il a été comparé à la vague de Sunset (Hawaï) à plusieurs reprises.
En Euskadi, le port de Guéthary, en plus d’être le plus petit de la Côte Basque, a la particularité d'être en cale sèche, tous les bateaux sont hissés hors de l'eau à l’aide d’un treuil après chaque sortie en mer. Vu sa taille, il ne peut accueillir que quelques bateaux et les emplacements sont réservés pour des années

Surfistas en la playa de Guétary. Con una ubicación privilegiada, a idéntica distancia de dos localidades vecinas de gran prestigio, Biarritz y Donibane Lohizune, Getaria ('Guethary' en francés) es el pueblo más pequeño de toda la costa aquitana.
Una vez haya entrado por la calle principal de Getaria y después de descubrir el centro de la localidad, la brisa con olor a salitre le atraerá irremediablemente hacia el mar como si de un imán se tratase.
