Ahyeon actually trained with YG as a hip hop mid range singer rapper with a occasional High note belt for colour for 4 years before a full reset that occurred during the Last evaluation series when she was asked to change her song choice I did it by DJ Khaled to cover Charlie Puth's Dangerously, Dangerously cover is a must watch too. The reset was quite a struggle and she went missing and missed the launch of Batter Up and Stuck in the middle. She finally debuted on Sheesh. Charlie Puth was so impressed he gifted Like that, to Baby Monster. Watch Like that exclusive performance video.

I do think that BM is probably overall the most talented Kpop group because not just 1 or 2 members but each member is highly talented vocally. Especially when considering their youth and how much they can still improve.

Hello, I'm pleased at your candid reaction to Ahyeon of Babymonster singing this cover, "Vampire". The two flaws (barely flaws) you mention were not perceptible to me but I'm not a highly trained singer like you. However, at times I feel as if she has minor control issues, especially with difficult songs. But she always seems to challenge herself by singing more difficult songs. Still, your assessment of her performance was good. I'm a big fan of Babymonster and I hope she is receiving continuous vocal lessons to help with that control you pointed out. From what little I've heard about her, despite already having a great technical advance, I still place her at the same level of development as Pharita. They are still very young, they are learning the techniques (from professionals who seem very competent to me) and they are still learning to release the volume on the higher notes. So I consider some flaws normal and acceptable. And I think it's great that the team isn't afraid and is already putting them on presentations like this. I will analyze it more often. One thing that might be good to see in the future would be your analysis of members from their evaluation period two years ago compared to currently. Ahyeon even sang Monster in the evaluation period and then on Begin Again. As you've mentioned numerous times they are young and still learning. It would be interesting to hear how you feel they have improved and changed over this two year period.
