This song contributed to me enjoying poetry from the Romanticism era. Samuel Taylor Coleridge, but also the poets from my former home country (Karel Jaromír Erben, Ján Botto etc.) Great stuff. Very strong atmosphere. And I respect one of my most favourite metal bands for popularizing this and bringing it to contemporary audiences! Plus thumbs up for the great playing and great sound in this video! :)

The Steve Harris Rotosound flats are the weirdest, coolest flats I've ever played. They were brighter than steel roundwounds and stayed bright for way longer than any other flats I've played. Love them.

well....I finally found it! A perfect KZbin video. Superb. gorgeous P Bass with the West Ham graphic....all those lovely basses in the back and the Harris style right hand! and to top it off you got the World Slavery tour shirt. Im a guitarist with a bass lol...I just started bass about a year ago...discovered Maiden at 12 yrs old('81) with Killers.....so im a pretty hardcore fan growing up enjoying the vocals of Bruce AND Paul almost equally.....watching this I kept thinking this is a helluva workout...like some P90X ish heh...my right forearm tenses up just watching...off to a bad start with my technique

Great job! This one is tough, I can't play it entirely in one take. One small tip if you wanna get closer to Harry's tone: play between the pickup and the bridge, not above the pickup. That's part of Steve's tone.

Excellent job! Though I'm not 100% sure of the parts between 4:14 and 5:05, I seem to hear an odd note every now and then 🤔 I play this with my Maiden Tribute band and I always have anxiety of f***ing up all the middle part, which so far has only happened once (skipped a beat on the part at 7:35) but other than that it's an amazing song to play live
