It was mine too :) the base line play essentially the root note, some passing thru note And some 3rd on the bridge.

I would play the same notes and tone but in different frets and with less left hand movements

Yes, there's different way to play this song on the fretboard, sometime (especially in rock songs) i'd rather to move further on the fretboard to have full body notes with more depth. anyway, thank you for your comment ;)
