MrFlyboygully Oh I know but I'd rather support the hard work of Steve Duda. Especially because he did an exceptional job with this.

BlackAera What if you treat producing like great fun and you are not making money with it ? If you want just to mess around with the program don't waste fucking $129 on it.

Yeah, it's a great synth. Very open, lot's you can do with it. 16x unison!!!! Going to be some very cool patches made with this. 2+ sub OSC technically.

Hey. I loved your tutorials. Could you help me with recreating the guitar pluck sound by Daft Punk in particular in "Beyond". I dont know if i need a good plugin or just factory defaults like operator (I use Ableton Live 9 suite) - I also have Sylenth1

Could you try making the main bass sound from Machine Gun by F.O.O.L.? That dry sound is really awesome and its something that I feel I would use a lot.

Loving the dedication to wanting it, I have it now and it's great. Have you got it yet?
@wolvAUS9 жыл бұрын
A-Rad Official I have it now indeed and it's great, I try to use it as a Sylenth1 replacement. There's lots of cool sounds that can be made with Serum but I prefer Massive just a *little* bit more :)
@ARadofficial9 жыл бұрын
I know exactly what you mean. Honestly you can make all the same sounds on massive with just the right knowledge, but I guess they both have their own unique differences. (: either way I love em both haha!

A-Rad Official I find myself missing Massive's performer function. I'm super stoked for UHE Hive though!

Any good vids on Serum automation?
@CHolz-nd1wn8 жыл бұрын
+Steve Kimble It's freakin difficult :/ for me (In Logic) you have to select the automation manually out of a list with hundreds of functions. Those are usually not labeled the same as in Serum but similar. so it should work by a little searching an trial and error :)

Try investing in your stuff instead of torrenting for another shiny toy to put in your plugin folder. Save your money and buy the damn thing. Steve Duda is the only guy behind this synth and if ppl like u keep ripping him off the less time he can devote to making kick ass plugins like Serum. He'll be forced to do something else to pay his bills. It's not like a multimillion dollar corp made the friggin thing....and it's not like the tools and investments are cheap for a single man running a tiny independent business to make a plugin like this. Steve may have done most of the coding on his own....but he also hired the mind behind the Ohmforce plugins to help him in areas of cpu optimization, multiple specific professional GUI designers and encoders to help him create an efficient layout along w/ the high detail wavetable visuals and automation visual feedback, and also the mind behind Cytomic's "The Drop" for some of the crazy filter coding like the "reverb filter". If you have any decency or pride in what you do at the very least don't steal from "the little guys" trying to make a living in the extremely competitive world of audio plugin creation and sales.

Massive X Serum ?
@matrixate8 жыл бұрын
+Pablo Gabriel My question exactly. Get both. Reason... There is an over abundance of Massive presets on the web. Serum is a whole other level of FFT of wave tables that Massive doesn't do. I'm sure anyone that uses them both frequently would agree.
