I was there that’s the ramp you took the pic at that I use in my community! I passed you we weren’t bass fishing we where crappie fishing and ended up in a school of sand bass and hit a two man limit then went home we passed you! This lake is full of them nice size bass! It has never disappointed

The ramp that I launched at is a public ramp on the new side. The ramp that I took the picture of the fish at is the private ramp on the new side as well.

Sweet! I haven't fished Amon Carter in quite a while. Also I've never fished out of a kayak. In recommendations for a decent kayak for fishing out of at a decent price?

It just depends on how much you want to spend when I first started I bought the basic $250 sit on top pelican kayak from academy and slowly upgraded from there. For a better quality pedal kayak that you can stand up in and fish it’s going to be around the 2k mark starting out. I went used myself and got a bunch of accessories with it. Hobie, Old Town, Bonifide, Native which I use are the most popular with a few others mixed in.

Dude! Those were some hogs! I'm definitely heading down to Texas to do some fishing. Great video man and congrats on that beast of a fish! Just a heads up, you might want to change your aspect ratio on your gopro to 16:9 so it will give your videos a full wide screen look. Looking forward to more videos!

I’ve never catfished it but have caught some nice channels on accident there.
