Every Sunday after church i had to make mama and daddy get me home from church it was bill dance outdoors at 12:30, fishing with Roland martin at 1, and jimmy Houston outdoors at 130. Life was a lot simpler back then

I live in southeast Louisiana and have been all around R.S. Duck hunting and fishing but have never been in there proper!! The problem with the gulf coast is hurricane’s pushing salt, bad water, and or the water gets high and fish leave out looking for good water and 10’s of thousands die for them things but our marsh bass are smaller in the 12” to 16” but a 13” fish can weigh 2lbs to 3lbs and solid as a tuna

There sure are lots of smaller bass there, Brian, but there’s also some bigger ones. Biggest we caught was around. 4 pounds That area does take a beating from Mother Nature pretty often it seems. It’s a great ecosystem and a Sportsmans paradise, like they say. May God Bless. jimmy

They have several lakes there at Grosse Savonne, near Lake Charles. We Fished two or three of em’. I can’t remember the names That sounds right, but not sure. Fishing was tuff, it was just so hot and the water was low. We love it though. Lol. Thanks. May God Bless. jimmy

The skirts are made by H&H. If you are old enough to remember or have seen them the H&H spinner baits that came with the double hook and you put it on your self. It may be easier to find or get them from Humdinger is made in south Louisiana. An they sale the skirt’s in 4 to a pack an they may have 2 packs but I have always got the 4 packs. An I have caught thousands of bass on the humdinger spinner baits. But he’s got the video of the red man spinner bait’s on this channel with the links you can look in the videos and it’s from about 2-3 weeks ago he made the video hope it helps you brother. 🙏🏼🙏🏼GOD BLESS 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
